Yes, you can set Penfold up to send us information straight from your payroll provider. Your Penfold Account Manager can set this up for you. Alternatively you can send us a copy of your payroll and we can upload this to our databases.
How much does Penfold cost for employers?
Penfold Workplace is completely free for employers. We don't charge anything to manage your pension scheme and all additional services (like pension transfers and employee education) are included.
What about for our employees?
Our single, all-in fee is charged to employees - they'll pay a yearly rate of 0.75-0.88% (dropping to 0.4-0.53% on savings over £100,000) of their total pot. This yearly rate is made up of a pension administration fee plus an investment platform fee.

The Sharia plan investment platform fee is inclusive of a 0.2% subsidy from Penfold, following the restructure of the underlying HSBC fund, which will expire on August 30th. We are currently working on extending this or finding another fund at the same price, but the fees on this plan may increase. We will provide at least one month notice for any such change.

Penfold is a registered pension administrator, authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), number 826097.
Penfold is also a part of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). In the very unlikely event that something were to happen to Penfold or our partners (BlackRock and Lloyds bank), the value of your pension is protected up to a maximum of £85,000 per individual.
